Our Unique Stage Setup
Dry Run Creek has the lowest possible stage volume! Dry Run Creek does not use ANY AMPLIFIERS, and we do not use any acoustic drums. All of our instruments run directly into our, or your P.A. system!
The Dry Run Creek string instruments are all played through respective Direct Injection Boxes that use impulse response to modulate our instruments into sounding as if they are coming from an amplifier while actually being fed directly into the P.A. system.
In addition to having completely silent guitars on stage, Dry Run Creek also uses a Roland SPD-SX to produce all of our drum tones electronically. (No loud snare drum or piercing cymbals) It is this element paired with the Direct guitars and bass that lets us perform as loud as your system allows, or as quiet as five voices and an acoustic guitar.
If your venue doesn’t happen to have a P.A. system, don’t worry! Dry Run Creek has a QSC system that boasts 7800/15600 RMS/peak watts of power to fill any small, medium, or large indoor space and can also be used for small or medium outdoor performances.
